W.P. COLIN SMITH JR.

Colin Smith represents individuals and entities in strategically significant disputes and lawsuits. High net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, real estate developers and people who find themselves in the most trying events of a lifetime have been the core of Colin Smith’s practice. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Federal District of Massachusetts and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Colin earned both a B.A. in government from Boston University and a J.D. cum laude from Boston University School of Law where he was an editor of the Law Review. After graduating from law school, he had the classic introduction to law practice first as a law clerk for the Hon. George MacKinnon of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, the most prestigious post graduate position short of the Supreme Court, followed by two years in the distinguished litigation department at the Boston law firm of Nutter, McClennen & Fish. Colin Smith was a long term tenured Professor of Law at the New England School of Law where he taught courses both in the trial area and in corporate and real estate transactions.
